The Beginnings

The Club was founded in 1996, and the first meeting for which we have records was March 6th of that year. So that makes 2006 our 10th anniversary! The founding committee were Peter Richards, Pat Williams and Carol Simmons.

We now have a page dedicated to archive material - old newsletters etc. - link on left <<<<<<<<<<<<<

The Club Now
We currently have around 60 members, but more are always welcome! Our year starts in October, and membership fee is just 10 pounds. This includes reduced rate entry to our meetings at 10 pounds per meeting, and guests are always welcome at 12 pounds. Meetings always include a tasting of at least 8 wines and a buffet supper. Membership also entitles members to a discount of 10% at Majestic Wine Warehouse in Aylesbury. We meet on Friday evenings generally once a month at the Buckland Village Hall (map below) with a dinner in March and a summer special in July.
